what's your theological worldview?

You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Sivin: since I "passed the test", I guess I should be asking u when's the next Emergent meet? ;)

Adrian / Keith: Haha...well-trained indeed. Our elders would be so proud =) But I do wonder how they would score. Maybe I'll forward this link to CPK and some of the rest...ha!

Aiyo...didn't u read the write-up on your results page? =p

But basically, you hold on to the core beliefs of most evangelical churches. And that means, you've passed our brethren test and you can start preaching the gospel on the streets...haha

Oh we've met already in September ... and plan another one in November .. very likely the last week. Haven't you been getting our emails in the yahoogroup?

Unknown said...

Oh, actually I normally just read the correspondences on the Yahoo Group itself. I opted against receiving them in the mail since I feared a barrage of emails flooding my Inbox. Been a little busy of late, so I guess I've not really been following the scene much.

Yup, Hedonese told me of the post-mooncake festival meetup. Met him for the first time, along with a quite a few other regular bloggers, at CDPC last Sunday for a dialogue on Buddhism. There'll also be one this Sunday on Islam. You're probably already aware of it.

I think the dialogues were meant to be fortnightly, but the Buddhism one was postponed from its original date or something. So, Islam will be on the 16th i.e. this Sunday lor.

I very much want to go, but I think that depends on what happens at CE. This Sunday's the last session and I think they're asking us to linger around and chat a little over refreshments or something.

Btw, do pray for my group. Got a "backslidden" Christian who's eager to come back to God, a disillusioned Christian who's searching for answers to tough questions, and a free-thinker who says she understands what being a Christian is all about but is struggling to give up certain things in her life.
