I repent of the pursuit of things presumptuously mine.
I repent of thoughts that I know betray spoken words.
I repent of this flagrant masquerade.
I repent of trading You for a cheap substitute.
You created nothing
That gives me more pleasure than You
You won't give me something
That gives me more pleasure than You.

Whoa! That's like 2 in a row already! Creepy lehhh...hahahahaha
Those thoughts came to me when I was reflecting over God's blessings to me. I find myself confronted with the question on what/who gives me more pleasure...the gift or the giver?
I want to echo the words of CC.
Sounds very hedonese to me! heheh... CS Lewis says our problem is not that our capacity for pleasure is too great, but that we are too easily satisfied with cheap substitutes when infinite delight is laid before us :)
